We had a great time today!

We heard about the day in the life of a nurse, a vet tech (and a dog!), and a hair stylist! Doesn't our hair look great?

We learned about unfairness and tolerance today- here is our "Voices of Freedom" quilt we made:

Look at all these wonderful books that families donated to 2nd grade this weekend from our Book Fair!! Thank you- we can't wait to read them all!

Thank you so much to Chloe and her mom for being such wonderful 2nd grade ambassadors! It was fun!

Our "If I Were President" writings are great!! A hot tub in every classroom, free hot air balloon rides at recess, class pets...what fun ideas!!

Gavin brought in fun Star-Wars themed treats today!

We are learning all about the bald Eagle, which became the U.S. seal in 1789!

We started a new science unit today on heat, energy and force- they did a great job identifying sources of heat!
