Filled with gratitude!

Our class did a FANTASTIC job performing their "Thankful" song at Gathering this morning. They get to perform it again at Scattering tomorrow. Everyone loved it! Then we asked the entire school to help complete our Gratitude Tree. It looks great, don't you think?

This week we're writing all about our favorite part of Thanksgiving, and our assignment is to write an opening that grabs your attention. We made scarecrow friends to accompany our writings. Great job Nathan and everyone!

Mr. Laplander gave a fun and interesting presentation to our classes today all about veterans. Thank you Mr. Laplander!

1st & 2nd Grade Rocks!

1st and 2nd grade won the Student Council Food Drive and earned a dress down pass for winning! We collected 183 food items, and our school collected 544 items total to help other less fortunate families! Thank you for your help!

We Voted!!

We had so much fun campaigning for our favorite pretzels today! Cheddar twist pretzels won, followed by honey wheat sticks, pretzel twists, and finally pretzel sticks. The kids loved voting in a "real" voting booth and then casting their ballot in a ballot box!
